Kolbe House Jail Ministry, has been serving those affected by incarceration in the Chicagoland area since 1982. From inside the house itself to the Cook County Correctional Facility, this doc aims to highlight the work of their ministry.

Kolbe House Jail Ministry is located at 26th and California in Little Village, which is two blocks away from the Cook County Correctional Facility; a place where Kolbe House chaplains and volunteers offer 30-40 programs a week to individuals in custody. The ministry itself is compromised of numerous good-natured people from across Chicagoland who commit their time to helping those impacted and affected by incarceration, whether that be individuals in custody or recently released, families of someone affected, etc. The goal of the ministry for the pursuit of social justice, not just in the surrounding communities and neighborhoods, but in the state of Illinois as a whole.
